Business Week Online Rankings

Right around March 2009

I actually submitted my BW survey for the 2009 ranking. I wonder what the results will be…

[Undergrad - BSchools](http://bwnt.businessweek.com/interactive_reports/undergrad_bschool/) Are the 2008 results.

I find these better than the US News rankings because they seem to have more components to them, whereas the US News rankings seem like they just appeared out of thin air.

The 2009 ranking has just released…

sweet jesus. mighty wharton has fallen.

These things are sooooo laughable…Saint Joe’s the #57 bschool? LMAO… Temple has the #2 bschool in the Philadelphia area behind Wharton, of course. I love how they gave us a C for facilities. I guess brand new, $80,000,000 business school buildings are nothing special…

What a joke…I didnt even know Ohio U and Chapman had bschools.

American? Bryant? John freaking Carroll? Marquette? Colorado State? Xavier? Cal Poly? Depaul? Rutgers-Newark? Hofstra? Florida International? Are you kidding me?

These people are absolutely clueless.

These results don’t appear as accurate as last years; my school last year had an A+ for teaching quality, this year a B, and facilities last year an A-, this year an A when they did absolutley nothing to any of their facilities (if anything it should have dropped).

Exactly. How do you not improve when you open an $80,000,000 building? I swear they pull these rankings out of their asses…

These rankings do look pretty bad. The problem with incorporating so many components into rankings is that accurately reflecting so many aspects is difficult and frankly, stupid.
Some of these rankings look simply preposterous ( How is richmond tied for number 1 academic quality? What does that even mean?)

Hah, those rankings are HORRIBLE.

Yeah I’m not too impressed with this year’s rankings. My problem in general with the BW Rankings is that they take factors into what students say. But it is what it is. Not sure how NYU is ranked that low.

The rankings are a piece of joke! USD School of Business ranks #29. Even if it is ranked #92, it is still too overrated! This is pathetic. USD has one of the worst facilities and the accounting professor I had was horrible. How could they rank #29?

The rankings are really flawed!

sounds like you go to Kelley maxellis, and yes these rankings are a joke.

right you are ifailedcalculus

USC really got shafted with the student evaluations this year :o

For BBA rankings, I find the USNWR much better than BW.

I’m a student at UGA (Terry) and received an email from the school saying that we were left out of the rankings simply because not enough students responded to the survey. So, that shows how much of a joke BW really is… The email probably went to the junk folder of many students. Our risk management and real estate programs are consistently ranked #2 or #3 by US News.

Link’s dead…

Bump. Rankings come out tomorrow at 5pm

Hmmmm…these rankings confuse me. :?
