would i be better off staying at univ of tampa for finance or transferring to usf?

Maybe, maybe not. What you’re asking is a really open-ended question. One obvious difference between the colleges for a Florida resident is expense: tuition at UT is around $22,500/yr, USF about $4600. USF is a much larger school offering a wider variety of programs in its business college. I have friends who have attended UT who love the school. I attend USF and love every minute at USF. It would be easy for me to say USF is better for you; you should investigate USF on your own to see if it is a better match for you. You are the one who ultimately has to decide.

Just curious, I’m not a business major, but wouldn’t it make more sense for you to maybe major in accounting which would give you more flexibility and the option to do accounting, finance or many other business fields?

have you heard about USF’s finance program?

I know USF has a finance program, but I am not that familiar with the programs offered by the USF Business College. If you are now at Univ. of Tampa, maybe you could make arrangements to go across town and spend a day at USF investigating the program. If you call in advance you should be able to talk to an advisor, maybe get permission to sit in a class and get a chance to talk to students presently enrolled in USF’s business college. Too you should check with admissions about getting in!
