Buttkicking Summer Programs

Hey guys,

It’s early February and I know that means that a lot of summer program application deadlines are soon and many have already passed. I was wondering if any of you could help me think of places I could apply to.

What I hope it has:
A summer residential program or internship at a university or something similar sounded like it would be a lot of fun, but I’m really looking for something low-cost or where they cover it for you (like TASP, where I applied). I know those programs are always more selective, but worth a shot. Also, I’m really interested in business/economics and I also like bio science research.

Me:
I live in California, 5.0 GPA in junior year, class rank 1, 2400 SAT Score, 150 volunteer hours, varsity tennis. Clubs: Mock trial, DECA, JSA.

Can anyone recommend anything for me? It’s ok if its not residential that was just a preference, the main thing is no cost. Also I’m open to internships Thank you so much!

RSI
NIH
both are super prestigious science research opportunities that fit the bill of internship and low cost.

And though this is unrelated, what classes did you take to get a 5.0?!!!

Here’s two more:

Clark Scholars
SIMR

Thanks guys! Anymore someone can think off?
And all I took all APs this year (chem, english, apush, calc, psych, spanish)

Regrettably, RSI’s deadline has passed, but the others look good.

Anyone know of any geared towards business, economics, etc?
