Buying a new SUV

^^And I’m the smaller car driver silently cursing the SUV’s that block my view! (said with a smile, we also have an SUV with a hitch for when we need to tow a camper) Someone earlier mentioned Subarus, which is what I drive, but I wouldn’t classify my Outback as an SUV. I am looking to replace my 10 year old one with another Outback though.

mamabear,
The new Foresters and Outbacks have a much more SUV/crossover look to them.

I have a BMW X3 purchased used with 10K miles on it at 2 years old. Awesome car. Not much more than the new Rogue as I recall. Really good highway mileage for an SUV … lots of power … great for 2 people and smaller back seat passengers. I now have 60K on it with no major repairs and I am still happy …
