I was wondering what you guys think about getting one of those pull up bars and placing them on the door jab. I’m talking about the portable ones. I am thinking of getting this one--

I wanted to get your opinions on it. As of last quarter, I rarely went to the gym, but I’m thinking about getting it, so if I’m in need of a “break” from studying, I can just hang on the bar and burn off some stress! =D

My only concern is that it may not fit in the doorway…XD I wanna buy online and I want it to be a sturdy bar, does this seem alright ?

I’ve had a pull-up bar in a doorway before (a simple single bar.) I liked it. I wouldn’t use it in workout sessions or anything of the sort. I would simply make myself follow a rule like ‘Do one pull-up every other time you pass by’ (it was outside my door.) I’ve been kind of longing for one lately… but I think a second size of free weights will keep me satisfied for now.

I imagine that one would work. No personal experience though. Good luck.

I got one for Christmas and enjoy it. The only problem is the door frames near my room are weird and I have to set it up downstairs where a normal door frame is.
