<p>I would like to buy a digital watch, in the $20 or less range, that will last a long time. I have had 4 watches over the years, and none have lasted longer than 2 years (most only last one year). I don’t need anything fancy, just a simple date and time display (with seconds) and a backlight that I can activate with a button. Water resistant is also necessary (my current watch has all that and cost me $10, but is right now falling apart). Anything more is nice, but not necessary.
Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, a link to buy it online (Amazon is best, and I’m willing to pay a few bucks extra if it’s from Amazon, but any online store will do) would be nice.</p>
<p>I’ve had some timex watches in the past that lasted quite a while.</p>
<p>I can understand about a lot of watches not lasting a long time. Currently I have a quartz bracelet watch that cost about $7 at Wal-Mart. It’s nice, it works, but I don’t expect it to last more than two years.</p>
