Buying books at Bookstore

So I didn’t use my SPOP 20% off coupon while I was at SPOP, and I noticed that it can be used on the bookstore website before sept 16.

I was wondering if it was worth it. Worth the wait, and worth the shipping price. I WAS going to get my Writing 37 book and maybe the Chem 1A and some apparel, but is it worth it?

I read somewhere that on the weekend of move in (sept 17-18), the bookstore will have a 15% sale off everything. Should I just wait? Fast responses are great!!

Just get it from the
https://www.facebook.com/SellBookUCI</a>
page. So much cheaper…

In the case that the students will not have the up-to-date editions that some professors want, then your next bet is to try amazon, half.com, chegg.com –> slugbooks.com will help you find lowest prices online.

As for the bookstore, the majority of times you will find a better deal online. But this is something you want to double-check.

There is a sale during move-in weekend if you want to go that route. There will be information in your housing packet if you are living in the dorms :)

Yeah, I checked out the facebook page, and the editions offered were not the ones I’m required to get; so I’ll try the other online websites, and if worse comes to worse, the bookstore it is!

Thank you everyone.

If you do decide to purchase or rent books online always be sure to do a quick search for a coupon or promotion. This site can be very helpful:

Bookstore prices drive me crazy, especially when they don’t buy them back.
