<p>At Previews they mentioned something about them ordering computers and various computer-related things in bulk for students taht are interested, so that it’s cheaper. When do we get more info on that? Also, when they order in bulk, does that mean that, for example, everyone has to get the same model laptop - or are we allowed to customize it to our own liking? Also, if we order computer stuff through Penn, would we be allowed to get our purchases before coming to campus?</p>

<p>Take a look at the Computer Connection store website (google it for a url). From what I recall, they order a couple configurations of Thinkpads and a couple of Powerbook configurations, but you should definitely check to be sure. The Thinkpads are a big discount off retail, so that’s definitely something to consider. Apple stuff is the same as the educational price you can get off apple.com. And yes, I think they do have Built-To-Order options available.</p>

<p>Penn Computer Connection (located in the Bookstore) has major discounts. You’ll receive info in the coming months. If you purchase before a specific date, you will receive your laptop by mail over the summer. Desktops must be picked up on campus once you arrive.</p>
