C in regular and ap chem?

I got a c in ap chem then switched to regular chem. worst case scenario is that I get a c for regular chem too(i almost have a B in the class)

me and chem just do not mix, how bad does this look? I’m mostly an A/B student btw

and it’s not because that i slacked off because i had a d in ap chem and only got a c because i switched out:/ (its this special case thing my school does for ap class switching)

This may be an example of why taking many AP classes may not make sense for everyone. While some students can take many AP classes of different types (English, science, math, history, foreign language, art) and do well, most students should not consider taking every AP class available to them. If you are not particularly strong in a subject, like science in your case, taking an AP class in science is not the right thing to do. If your major is not engineering or a science related field, it may be better to focus on AP Literature or AP Spanish or AP History, but take the regular version of math or science to fulfill college and HS graduation requirements. If you are trying to get into a highly selective college (Ivies, Middlebury, Bowdoin, etc.) then taking all AP’s and getting A’s can help, but getting a C in any subject is never helpful. Smart move in getting out of the AP chemistry class for you.
