C- on ME 211 ??

Hello everyone,
I got C- on ME 211. What that means ? like, do i have to take again ? Is it going to be problem in my fall schedule. I will be taking this classes on fall ME 350, 320, 382. I know it’s bad but this is my first semester (transfer student). I looked online about Mechanical engineering Sample Schedule and they said about D+ rule i don’t understand that can you explain.

(+) “D+” rule: Students must earn a “C‐” or better in prerequisite courses indicated by the (+) symbol; anything less must be repeated prior to taking a subsequent class for which this class is required.

Thank you so much.

C- is passing, if you get D+ then you have to repeat the course I think. You’re fine, but good luck with other classes.

I think in ME you can still pass with a C-. If you were in EECS you’d need to retake it because EECS is C and up.

C- is passing in ME but I’d recommend taking it again. You can retake C- grades for better grades.
