I live in CA and would like to stay. I am interested in Computer Science and I like UCLA and Berkeley. What colleges would you recommend I look at? Also, should I retake one of the entrance exams? If so, which one? Thanks!

If you prefer the metro scene to the college town scene, add Caltech and USC to the list (but only go to these schools if they offer you scholarships). If you prefer the college town scene, add Cal Poly and UC Davis to the list.

You may also want to shoot for Stanford as well.

Of course, even with rock-solid credentials, you certainly want a backup school as well. I’d recommend SJSU or SCU. Both are good schools, but I would take the afore mentioned schools first.

Note that you can study CS at Berkeley as either a CS major in the College of Letters and Science (BA degree) or an EECS major in the College of Engineering (BS degree). Both majors choose from the same selection of CS courses. The College of Letters and Science is generally regarded as being not quite as selective as the EECS major.
