Cabrillo community college to ucsc

Hi there . I was wondering if anyone
on here has any insight on if Cabrillo community college offers any type of transfer after one term to ucsc program. I currently live in so cal and attend msjc just about 45 mins north of San Diego and I applied to ucsc but was denied and denied appeal as well. I have a 2.7 gpa and igetc will be complete and I saw that cabrillo community offers a residency program where you can stay in a dorm through a program with ucsc . I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and if it’s possible to spend the fall term at ccc and then transfer to ucsc for winter term. If anyone has any info please let me know.

I go to Cabrillo College…there isn’t really any special program with UCSC. I think what you’re talking about is the University Inn housing, which is in downtown Santa Cruz and isn’t on the UCSC campus at all.

UCSC does take Winter quarter transfers, though, so you can apply again this summer.

get your GPA up. a 3.0 is probably a safe GPA for UCSC. Good luck
