A cadet has prepared this video for a class. Thought you’d like to see it. She’ll actually get credit for all of the hits it receives. So, pass it on…

I think “demoted” refers to the senator’s first sentence. He, oops, called General Petraeus an Admiral. Perhaps, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, she considers that a “demotion”?

I think the video is great! And funny. And an appropriate subject for her class. Plus I like the music…this age group still listens to the oldies?

The video was great! Thanks for posting this - we enjoyed watching it. I loved the frame of Petraues in his uniform with all the arrows pointing to his brass with the names of the medals in bubbles.

How can a US Senator - the Chairman of the Armed Services mistake a 4 Star General for an Admiral?
Perhaps it was not a mistake but a planned slip of the tongue - by referring to the General as “Admiral Petraeus” was he implying that he was the captain of a sinking ship?
Certainly, it was not meant to be flattering.
