<p>Because both schools are well-known for their letters and science department you can’t go wrong with either. However, in terms of culture, UCLA’s atmosphere is very different than that of Berkeley’s.</p>
<p>I don’t know anyone personally that was rejected from berkeley in the TAP program. Overall Berkeley has a better reputation but UCLA is a very good school as well. I would not just a school on reputation alone whatever school has the best fit for you is the one you should choose.</p>
