Hello, I just checked Webgrants and it says my Calgrant for 2023-24 is “Awaiting Processing” even tho my school has been giving me the calgrant. I transferred from CCC to a UC in Fall 2023, so I’m not sure if that’s why it’s still saying “awaiting processing” on the website. Should I be worried? Are they gonna ask for that money back later on cause what if I’m supposed to do something?

Every semester you’ll need to sign for your approval to pay the university.
In other words, it’s your money that has been “granted” to you for your education from the State of California. They need your “permission” to sign over your tuition and fees for the new semester/quarter. Any leftover money gets refunded to you.
Contact them if you have further questions-by phone-they are really nice and help you to understand your CalGrant.
