My father was unemployed last year so I qualified for Cal Grant A with two years of eligibility. However, my father found a job this year so I am pretty sure the family income will be over the ceiling for the 2016-2017 Cal Grant. Does this mean my Cal Grant A will only last one year instead of two?
If your father makes over the limit then most likely yes, your aid will not continue for the next year. You might be able to get a competitive cal grant though. Check out the requirements for that, its based on merit I believe.
The competitive Cal-grant has the same income ceilings at the entitlement grant.
