cal grant help and question please!

<p>i was not selected for cal grant this year…
can i apply next year for cal grant even though i am not accepted this year?</p>

<p>by the way, my efc is $24,000, but I am going to a UC…</p>

<p>I think you can still apply for cal grant every year, but I think since your EFC is so big and you are going to a UC, they probably think your need is not low enough to meet the requirement for the grant. You should try anyways. I THINK [correct me if I am wrong] that you might get it once you declared independent.</p>
