<p>Usually, any need-based financial aid is based on untaxed income thresholds, simply because taxes are different for everyone. It is unique to the person based on dependents and such, so you would get various and complicated numbers. Everyone goes by untaxed. Hope that helps. I’m applying to Cal Grant too.</p>
