Cal or UCSD for biotech??

So I have already SIR’d to UCSD for biotech with regents. Today UC Berkeley accepted my appeal for starting spring semester for bioengineering.

My question is: is Berkeley worth starting a semester late and not having regents, specifically for bioengineering which UCSD excels at. All opinions appreciated, especially if you know about starting a semester late.

The reality of it: Yes.
Plus, you’ll probably have better pre-req grades than others.

No. UCSD with Regents is a lot better than Cal Spring admit. You are in the top students at UCSD while you are not at Cal. Stay with UCSD.

What about the bioengineering program at the two schools? And what does better pre-reqs mean?

I only have ranking for graduate. Usually the undergraduate is very close to the graduate program. UCSD is better than UCB
