I called and they said they are releasing applications on a rolling basis. They are reviewing applications currently and after an application is reviewed, the student’s status is updated.

@goldenlabrador It seems like the emails come a couple days after portals are updated. What are your stats?

So, on a rolling basis means that they are released based on the time the application was submitted?
Any thoughts based on previous years whether or not the portal is updated ONLY during business hours so that we can all stop hitting refresh on the portal until after 9 am tomorrow?

I got accepted and I turned in my application on November 21st. If they are doing rolling admission, would one be correct to assume that people who turned in their applications at a later date get their notification of acceptance later as well?
What about the Business college? Has anyone heard anything on that? If I haven’t, does that mean I was denied?

I have no idea, but I turned mine in Novemebr 4th and I haven’t heard yet, and my stats weren’t amazing, but they’re still above average, so I’m crossing my fingers that they still will let me in.
@Lauren1272 Rolling in this case means releases will not be done all at the same time. Some schools may release based on your submit date. For Cal Poly, the date you submitted your app does not matter.
