So are we right to assume that SLO is releasing batches of acceptances by last name (alphabetically) and major? I’ve heard this a couple times throughout this thread…

@shaswizzle they seem to release by college then major. No order to the students (date applied, last name, etc), except maybe they release in decreasing order of stats. Even that is suspect since there are some pretty high-stats candidates still waiting.
@MelloG is it possible that even though some majors are already released, there’s still a chance to be accepted? i’m a marine science but my stats are pretty decent
What is the typical MCA that students get admitted for math/stats majors?
Basically I think the only major that no one has heard of yet is business adm

@shim18 like @Gumbymom said above, yes, there’s a chance, especially this year which seems to be breaking all the rules. Once transfer students start getting notified the chances diminish, but still aren’t 0. Also, I think this year they will be making more use of the waitlist because of the mess from last year. I would expect a lot of students to get accepted off the waitlist, like they were in 2016. Good luck!

It seems like business admin is going to be one of the last majors to have decisions sent out at this point… nobody anywhere seems to have gotten an acceptance for it.
