Cal Poly Pomona over UCSB, UCI, UCR and UCSC

electrical/computer engineering major though.
I don’t think I would get in to UCLA but I still want to study in LA.
I heart Irvine, R, SC boring town.

Trust me, Cal Poly Pomona is far more boring than any of those other choices. It’s surrounded by cows and horses

Yea cow tipping!

if you don’t want to be in a boring town, i don’t think cal poly pomona is going to be very exciting. i haven’t spent enough time there, but when i was there i heard it was a dry town, as in they don’t serve alcohol. i went to see a show at the glass house and couldn’t buy any booze - what the eff! who has a venue that doesn’t serve booze. i felt like i was in another world.

Pomona isn’t a dry town. The glass house doesn’t serve booze because it’s all ages.

However, this is pretty inconsequential. Cal Poly is on the outskirts of Pomona and absolutely nothing like the town itself.

Cal Poly = cows, horses, and fields
City of Pomona = crime and gangs

i stand corrected.

edit: don’t go to the glass house if you like booze with your music. unless you smuggle it in.
