Cal Poly SLO business vs Syracuse dual major Whitman/Falk sport management

Down to a final decision and too many pros and cons. Coming from west coast. OOS for cal poly, some scholarship at syracuse so they will be within $10K per year of each other.

Admitted for Orfalea business at Cal poly, and dual major Falk sport management and Whitman business analytics at Syracuse.

Want to do non-finance business, originally very interested in sports but it seems like the jobs are hard to get and lower paying in the sports industry. Open to a broader range of jobs post college and possibly grad school of some kind.

Pros at Cal Poly: weather, happy students, great job placement on the west coast, beautiful campus and access to nature, students from all demographics (though mostly cali).

(possible) Cons at Cal Poly: have heard it is very frat-focused for socializing, classes are hard to get into, and that the food isn’t great. also may be tied to the west coast for future jobs?

Pros for syracuse: really interesting dual major, traditional campus, sports culture, possibly better name recognition outside the west coast? More diverse students geographically, though maybe not diverse socioeconomically.

Cons for syracuse: hard to get to, bad weather, indoors all winter, possibly competitive culture in the business school, harder to come back west for jobs?

Help please! Especially from people who have experience with the business program in both schools.

Only the food part is accurate, and even that might have changed since our son was there. He’s an engineer, but his b-school friends didn’t have challenges getting classes. There are plenty of non-frat socializing opportunities. In fact, compared to my alma mater, the Greek scene is pretty small at Cal Poly.
