S24 does not seem to know how to set up or access the portal for SLO…any tips?

Ahh that makes more sense, so there is a second, more holistic path into CalPoly which will require a significant amount of human intervention.
If those specific classes are on assist.org for transfer for a corresponding class at CP then they will be accepted by CP.
My DS had done stats at CC in high school and it transferred in and counted towards his major support class which also gave him a nudge in registration. As well as the grades from CC transfer over so that A will transfer over (this does not happen at the UC’s).

No standardized tests, no essays, no recommendation letters, and low single digit acceptance rates in what is a Top 10 program at just about every college in America?

100% this. There were something like 25 spaces at SLO for D23’s specific major and about 650 applications. There’s only so much capacity. Wishing everyone great luck today!!

Can I please ask a question that will give away that I haven’t scrolled back and read every message in this thread? I’m seeing people are mentioning today a lot and acting like decisions will start coming out today. Is this just conjecture/wishful thinking? Or do we have a solid reason to believe today’s the day? Thank you in advance!

Was March 10 last year and year before on Th and Fri. So…thinking it could be today since March 10 this year is on a Sunday.

Good points. I know two years ago if you were not accepted you were notified about a week or so AFTER the acceptances/waitlists were released.
Hopefully the process has changed and they roll everything out at once, good or bad.
SLO also updated the portal, indicating decisions are soon. We could all be off and decisions come on Monday.

You are correct. Historically, SLO slowly rolls out acceptances, then waitlists, then rejections. It is very painful for those who do not hear in the first couple of days.
If you need a distraction, Davis has confirmed that their admission decisions will be released today.
