Calpoly was her top choice, we were discouraged after rejection from UCD. I had my doubts with a GPA below 4.0, but I guess Calpoly does consider other factors in admittance. We’re thrilled!!

Hi, my daughter has a 4.0 unweighted GPA. 1/351 in her class (tied with 4others). 5 APS; 6 College classes; 4 years varsity athlete & team captain (but not running in college). We are out of state.
Also, she was waitlisted at LMU, which was a huge shock. It looks like most people getting in to SLO also got in there.
Congratulations, 8 years of VAPA is great, especially considering the rest of the well-rounded curriculum.

My daughter was accepted for journalism. I don’t think Cal Poly releases acceptances by major. I think all of the majors just trickle in.
