Cal Poly SLO VS University of the Pacific

I agree with DunninLA, there are countless ways to compare schools, but at the end of the day it is the fit. There is no point that one is admitted to Harvard, but the person hates living in Cambridge for whatever reason.

But to settle the back and forth:

Cal Poly avg GPA 3.87, Avg ACT 28, Avg SAT 1268

UOP avg GPA 3.54, Avg ACT 26, Avg SAT 1200

The numbers are from the schools’ sites. So it seems by simplistic raw numbers the answer seems to be self evident.

If you are already presupposed UOP is better than Cal Poly academically, then why bother asking everyone here, like you did on UCSD,UCSC, UCD, SCU thread?
