Cal Sate transfer to USC?

Hello everyone I have a question about transferring to USC. USC is my dream school. Right now I am a senior in high school. I applied to multiple school including USC. My high school GPA was around 3.9 UW and I got 1970 on my SAT. I was denied to all of the schools in California I applied to (UCSB, Cal Poly, UCLA, SDSU, UCD, UCSD) including USC, except for Cal State Chico. I have thought about going the Community College route, but I am in need of a change of scenery and I need to get out of the house. Anyway my question is how would I go about transferring from Chico to USC? Is it possible to transfer in 1 year? Will going to Chico hurt my chances at transferring to USC? Thanks in advance.

bumpppppp plz

WOW you have some nice stats there, why are you denied at Cal poly, is it the same tier as, say UCSD?
As for transferring, I really suggest the CC->UC route, because it’s simply much easier than transferring to USC. Don’t take the risk that you might spend the entire four years at Cal State Chico.

My understanding is that USC does accept CC transfers fairly often, but fewer 4-year U transfers. You can speak with USC admissions to confirm. Our D was a CC transfer to USC.

If you’re not a fan of the nearby CC, there is at least one (probably more) CA CC that has dorms where many students live. Can’t remember the name off-hand but assume your HA guidance counselor may know.
