What’s the closest thing cal has to skull & bones? I’ve heard of the skull and keys but i can’t seem to find much more info on it.

skull and bones?

skulls and bones is a secret society in yale university. People like Bush and john kerry are part of it. lots of it’s members go on to become big in the field of politics, business, and/or law.

Secret societies are more of an Eastern American thing. That’s not to say that Cal definitely doesn’t have them, but they don’t seem to be all the rage here.

Yes but which frat is the closest thing we have to Skull & Bones at Cal?

IMO, I think the most secretive fraternity on the Cal campus is fiji (Phi Gamma Delta)

Machiavelli… looking to run for political office in the future or just IB? :)

why’s fiji any more secretive than other frats?
if anything, they just have a handful of guys with -p1ss off- signs.

Cal has The Order of The Golden Bear.

Fiji is not a secret society whatsoever. It’s just a very seclusive social fraternity.

Fiji is just rich. and more or less white. lol they’re not some secret frat.

I’ve heard of the Order of the Golden Bear, but I can’t seem to find an official website or any other info on how to join.

I have yet to decide.

Uh they are secret for a reason Machiavelli.

Just because you find a secret society online doesn’t mean:

a. You’ll ever find it in real life.

b. You’ll be accepted into it.

c. It’s legit and exclusive. I mean, come on, what kind of decent secret society forgoes secrecy and makes an official website for itself?
