Son got accepted. Saw in portal today. I know he has taken some honors classes and AP English and IB History. First generation college student.

General question: Admitted students what is the SIR deadline for CSUF since the CSU’s have extended the deadline due to the FAFSA issues?

Cal Poly Pomona has extended their deadline to June 1.

I am not sure what that is? Are you referring to this:

2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CDA) is now open!

Don’t forget to submit either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CDA) by April 2, 2024.

No the SIR deadline is the enrollment deadline. Normally May 1 but extended this year since the FAFSA processing has been delayed.

Fullerton hasn’t sent emails of the acceptance letter yet and it isn’t immediately obvious in the portal. Cal Poly Pomona gave the SIR deadline in the acceptance letter that came out a day or two after the admissions change in the portal. Fullerton’s website currently says 5/15.

I just got my acceptance! I didn’t get an email about it, but I checked the portal and the acceptance notice was there. Best of luck!

Same. Daughter didn’t get an email but checked the portal today and was accepted. OOS. Accepted also at SDSU (currently #1 choice) and Pomona, still waiting on CSULB and Cal Poly (and UC) decisions.

Honors College Invite: Yes/No - Invited to apply to Business Honors, attended Zoom last night.

Where on the Portal did you see the notification?

I believe it’s on the Student Homepage — Application status. There’s a message box at the bottom.

Thanks, found it! That got to the most confusing portal. You have to click on the Student Homepage, then Admissions, then Application Details to find a small box in the bottom with one sentence “Congratulations, you are admitted.”
