<p>Hi everybody… so congrats to those who got accepted. I’m thrilled myself the moment I saw two colums on the URSA website…</p>

<p>So is anybody out there transferring from a CAL STATE ? wanna share your stories?</p>

<p>Here’s mine:</p>

<p>Transferring from CAL STATE LONG BEACH
Applied to: UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, UCSB, and UCI
Accepted: UCLA, UCSB, UCI (sofar)
Counting down on: USC, UC Berkeley
Major: Biology (Pre-med)
GPA:3.76
Science GPA: 4.0
Pre-Reqs: All done by this Spring (hopefully)
Essays: Contents 10/10 … How it was written: 8/10
EC: Hospital Internship, Trip to Vietnam… etc…
CC: CAL STATE LONG BEACH
Units: 65 by the end of this semester…
Work: 25 hours a week </p>

<p>Transferring to UCLA from Cal Poly Pomona.</p>

<p>EDIT: Oh and majoring in philosophy :smiley: Was accepted everywhere I applied so far…UCLA, UCSB, UCSC. Waiting to hear from Berkeley, but it’s just for fun because UCLA was my top choice.</p>

<p>EDIT 2: Edited out IGETC stuff - I just realized it’s only for CC students. Still curious how courses get transferred over though.</p>
