cal states.. have a shot?

<p>I am going to be a senior next year, going in with a gpa of 3.1 and a 1430 on my first ever SAT [i’ve only taken it once.] Do I have a shot with those stats?
What if I get a 3.9 or 4.0 in the first semister of next year and get around the same SAT score when i retake it?
I’m going in for nursing and will have a lot of background with hospital work and such…</p>

<p>You can get into many cal-states with those stats. Except the better ones like cal poly, long beach, and a few others.</p>
