Calabeza: What a Wonderful Discovery!

<p>Out of curiousity I bought something labeled ‘Mexican pumpkin’ (or Calabeza) from the local Latino supermarket and roasted it with a bit of sugar, salt and onions last night. Great stuff. Slightly sweet and very tasty. I also tried Kobocha not too long ago and it was good as well.</p>

<p>Anyone else recently try a new food or beverage? How did it work out?</p>

<p>We decided to try every single flavor at our local ice cream shop this summer. :smiley: It worked out great! I discovered some new flavors that I really liked – never would have guessed that cherry nut would be a winner.</p>

<p>It really is calabaza. Yes, it’s delicious.</p>
