calc bc score count as 2 AP's?

<p>does the calculus bc scores count as 2 separate AP scores, as (1) for BC and (2) for AB? Will colleges see this as 2 ap scores, since they look like 2 on the score report?</p>

<p>Calculus BC is a single score, with a subscore for the AB material. The AB subscore only matters if you did poorly on the BC material and well on the AB material.</p>

The Calculus B subscore grade is designed to give colleges and universities more information about the student. Although each college and university sets its own policy for awarding credit and/or placement for AP Exam grades, it is recommended that institutions apply the same policy to the Calculus AB subscore that they apply to the Calculus AB grade.

In summary, you receive one score which counts as one AP exam; in the event you score poorly on the BC material but well on the AB material, your AB subscore may be of some placement value in college. <p>I got 4 units for the BC score and 0 units for the AB subscore, which is fine. If you’re lucky your university policy may vary.</p>
