Hi, I’m not sure if this has been asked already, but what is the calc policy for science courses such as general chem or intro bio?

Are graphing calculators such as TI-83 or 84 allowed, or is it strictly scientific calculators only?

Thanks

For chemistry, you’ll need to get one of these calculators:

TI-30Xa - TI-30X IIb - TI-30X IIs (solar) - TI-36X

I’m not sure about biology, but whichever calculator you end up getting for chemistry would most likely be fine.

For bio, they follow the same rules as chem (see above).

You don’t need (and are not allowed) calculators for the Prin. of Bio. I exams (at least for this past semester).

carramrod- yes, but I do believe you’re allowed scientific calculators on the lab quizzes.
