calcium chew to recommend?

I can tolerate the VitaFusion calcium gummy chews (Costco and elsewhere) but they’re a bit too sugary. Can anybody recommend anything else? Trader Joe used to have some really good ones – like salt water taffy – but the manager says they are long discontinued.

I get the Target store brand. They are sweet but I love them.

Oops. Deleted.

viactiv- i like the caramel or chocolate- tastes like a tootsie roll. I eat it work and feel like I am cheating eating candy.

Another vote for Viactiv chocolate. I also keep them in my desk at work and chew one with lunch. They changed the flavor a few years ago and I quit buying the caramel ones because they didn’t taste the same :frowning: The caramel ones had been my preferred flavor.

What about a piece of chocolate candy instead of a chew? The Adora supplements are pretty darn good and come both in milk and dark chocolate. It’'s like having a hershey’s kiss. I live in a very small town so I buy them on drugstore.com, but they are available at Whole Foods and other grocery/drug stores.

Oooh! Thanks for the tip, @GRITS80. I’m headed to visit D this weekend and have a trip to Whole Foods on my to do list.

If OP finds the gummivites too sweet, Viactive will taste even sweeter, IMO.
The list of ingredients in that Adora looks good. However, one piece provides only 500 mg of calcium, so it is a pretty pricy option.

The Adora is the only one Ive tried and it tastes surprisingly good, but now I just choke down the tablets.
( side note) Have you noticed that Amazon has made several of their items now " add on" items?
They no longer qualify for free ship if you have Amazon prime, unless you have $25 of something else. Even bigger xpensive things.
