Calculating SAT score

<p>Forgive me for sounding braindead (and issuing a “brainfart” on this forum), but when people speak of their high SAT scores and give a single number that sounds like all three sections added up, are they adding up the “best of” section of each actual SAT test, or are they looking at one SAT test (one test being what was taken at once, in the almost 4 hour session)? </p>

<p>Probably a “best of,” individually combined. We don’t look at the Writing score for admissions purposes, FWIW.</p>
