calculator issue in EIT/FE

<p>anyone encounter calculator problem for eit exam? I found that on NCEES website there are only limited types of calculator allowed in the exam: fx-115, TI-30X, TI-36X, HP 33s, and HP 35s models</p>

<p>I don’t know any one using these types of model, plus many of my friends are taking the exam too, so borrowing it from a friend seems not a solution…</p>

<p>Is there any place you can rent a calculator specifically for EIT?</p>

<p>I got a TI-36X off of amazon for $18. That’s strange no one at your school uses them, my school requires them as they want you to be prepared for the EIT. Also, the 36x can do just about everything the 89/83 can do, without the graphing.</p>

<p>You don’t need a calculator, but it’s a nice luxury to have.</p>
