Calculator on the GRE

I noticed on the GRE calculator that it doesn’t of a function to career an integer to a specific power like 4^7. Is there away around this or do you have to do 4x4x4x4x4x4x4 ?

Ostensibly the rationale behind this is that either: 1) No question will require such calculations, 2) If such calculations are required, it should be possible from the context of the question to surmise the result of such calculations without a calculator. In such cases, this is the preferred approach, since using the provided calculator for such laborsome calculations would result in an inefficient use of time.
