Calculator Question

<p>My trusty TI-83 crashed and burned this year. So it’s time for a new one. I’m interested in majoring in history (not 100% sure yet, but I think) and taking some statistics courses. I’m not going to pursue the calculus route.</p>

<p>My teacher says I should get an 84 because 89’s are less stats friendly and don’t offer advantage unless you’re doing calculus. Who agrees?</p>

<p>well, im on an 89 and i will agree to an extent. 89’s are less stats friendly * out of the box* but if you’re willing to download flash apps, etc, it might be worth it.</p>

<p>i’ve been a happy 89 user for ~2 years now, and yes…when we do stats in bio, im sometimes stuck writing my own code :).</p>
