<p>Pretty soon i have to decide whether to take the Calculus AB or BC exam in May. I am a sophmore in AB AP Calc, and my teacher was originally planning on preparing us for the BC exam, but now he thinks there is not enough time. I got an A+ first semester and am doing an extra book that does cover the BC material, but i do not know whether i should take the bc exam or not. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks</p>

take the exam for BC only if u feel u can learn all the material urself
im a junior and i really couldnt so am going to take ab but u mite be able to handle it idk</p>

<p>As a sophomore taking AP Calculus, I feel that you are a very scholarly student. If you are feeling extra ambitious, then go for it.</p>
<p>After you learn AB, BC is really only “C.” The topics under C are only a few chapters extra. You should buy Barron’s AP Calculus book, take a look at the problems, and then determine which exam you want to take. If you understand Barron’s, you will do great on the test (a kid on this board was in AB, studied Barron’s, and got a 100% on the BC exam).</p>
