Calculus Capable?

Hi:
Im in my senior year of high school. I’ve taken 2 years of algebra and have maintained a c+ b- aveage in a level 2 class. I feel i could do better at this if i try harder though. My planned major in construction management requires that i take applied calculus, which is what i am most nervous about. I know this is going to take a lot of work, and college is not a cake walk, but is caclulus doable for me?

You don’t really have a choice. You pretty much have to make it for you because no matter what you do, you’re going to have to take a math class in college. You might as well do what you like, take calculus for a semester or two, and just get it over with. You really might as well suck it up and do what you like (you don’t want to end up being a Ukrainian literature major, right?). :P

thanks, i know i have to take it and there is no way around it, but does it seem like my intelligence level is able to handle it being in level 2 classes. I would work really hard.
