How much of a difference is there between the two?
I need Webassign access and the bookstore is selling a LooseLeaf 8e with the code for $138.
But I can get a 7e for $60 and I think Webassign access codes are going for $10-22 a semester.
Suggestions/Recommendations?
You sometimes can look up each version by ISBN and (try to) learn what the differences are. The problem can be that addl info has been added or updated, changing some perspective (or even what chapters include.) You might try asking the instructor if the older version is ok. I see list price is nuts.
You can ask the instructor to find out of the difference in editions matters (e.g. if the homework problems are assigned out of the book, or there are relevant sections of the book that are changed between editions).
If you want to save money you can look for a pdf online or rent it from Amazon.
