I was accepted ED to Trinity and am now signing up for AP exams at my school. I’ve seen a lot of people on here saying to place out of Math 31 and 32 if you can. My problem is that my school only offers Calc AB and the teacher is not so great. I was thinking about self-studying BC but I don’t know exactly how difficult this would be or if it would be worth it to take this risk in taking the BC exam without taking the class.

Thinking about it, I’m pretty nervous and feel really insecure in my ability to do well on the calculus exam in general, but in the past I have taken AP classes with some pretty horrible teachers and not done anything in class all year but still got all 5’s, but for some reason I’m still panicking about this one! I have to turn in my sheet to order exams by the end of this week so I need to decide what I should do. I’m no math genius and I’m basically having to teach myself a lot of the AB stuff now too since my teacher and the rest of my class just don’t care. Any input would be much appreciated :)
