You use calc throughout all of physics C. Physics is pretty much the application of math to practical (and theoretical) scenarios using the laws of physics. Nearly all of the topics could have calc applied to them, and you need to be prepared for it to occur with any of them. This isn’t a calculus course, so there is an expectation of a mastery of basic calculus.
