I was wondering if I am capable of taking the Calculus BC exam, should I do just BC, or should I take AB this year and wait another, before taking BC?

Depends on school. In some they’re a sequence, in others it’s either/or. Ask your guidance counselor or math teacher.

If you’re capable of taking BC, I would say take BC, since there’s an AB subscore component to the BC test; that is, even if you don’t do so well on the BC concepts, if you do well on the AB concepts you can still get credit for Calc AB

The BC Calculus exam consist of 60 percent AB material and 40 percent BC material, if I am correct. You get an AB subscore, so there is no reason in taking both classes or tests.

I’m currently enrolled in BC Calc right now and we have the class eight times a week. We finish all the AB material around January and then cover BC material.
