California Alumni Association Scholarship?

<p>I received emails on both the Leadership and the Merit Scholarship. What does this mean? Does it indicate your chances at admission at all?</p>

<p>If you read the UCLA thread on this scholarship, everyone there said that they pick the top tier candidates for these? Is this the same for UC Berkeley?</p>

<p>Alumni Scholarship is completely separate from admissions. Everyone gets the email and is offered to apply but it has no means to do with whether or not you’ve been admitted. Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship on the otherhand… means you’re in!</p>
