California Education Cuts? :O

<p>hmm, so i was reading this, [Q&A:</a> Sacramento County schools chief on state education cuts - Sacramento Politics - California Politics | Sacramento Bee](<a href=“http://www.sacbee.com/budget/story/1514820.html]Q&A:”>http://www.sacbee.com/budget/story/1514820.html) and it talks about how california schools are gonna be in for another round of funding cuts, and it also mentions that school districts can drop one of the sciences reqiured for education or reduce the size of the school year by 5 days.</p>

<p>now, as a junior in ca, im relatively concerned by the situation. anyone have any idea where this is gonna end up? are we gonna have lots of teachers laid off again or what?</p>

<p>Have you been hiding under a rock? CA is in major financial trouble. There will be serious cuts at every educational level. Districts will individually decide what to cut.</p>

<p>i mean, ive experienced so many changes at school already. in the forms of… lots of teachers being laid off, having a freaking 60 person math class this year, having a class i was gonna take be dropped, seeing the elimination of CSRs for many classes (even though that doesnt affect me)</p>

<p>im just wondering how much worse its gonna get.</p>
