California Schools

I have a 3.65 GPA, a 2050 SAT (720 reading, 640 math, 690 writing), 4 years of cross country and track (or I will have had 4 years of cross country and track at the end of next year), I am in the school Robotics club, and I have a sprinkling of honors and AP classes. No volunteer hours (well that’s a lie, but I’ve only done about 10 in my 3 years so that doesn’t really help). I am varsity on the cross country team (automatically because I will have done it for 4 years) and on the track team (because I’m actually good at it). What UC’s would I be able to go to with these stats? I know UCLA and UC Berkeley are out of the question, but I could easily get into UC Merced with these scores. There must be other UC schools in between. If you could, list some good schools I could get into if i were trying to get into an impacted major (such as business), and then list some schools I could get into with a major with little competition (such as philosophy).

I am thinking of being a lawyer, and I’ve always enjoyed things like that; for example, I have fun on internet arguments because I can carefully construct arguments and research and such; I find it fun! So philosophy major is a possibility, as I hear that is good preparation for being a lawyer.

Why is it that threads which were created 20 minutes after mine have so many more views and responses? I feel so rejected D:

edit: Ah I see. Those times represent the last post, not creation time… I still feel rejected!

Okay, now you won’t feel rejected!

For you, I would reccommend these UC’s:

UC Berkeley: Reach
UCLA: Low Reach
UCSD: High Match
UCSB: Match
UC Irvine: Low Match
UC Merced: Safety
UCSC: Safety

I think that the most realistic choices for you are UCSB, UCSD and UCI.

yay! Thank you, person who’s name I would not properly be able to pronounce in real life! <3 (mic-vic-im 92? idk)

I think you should get into them all except for Berkeley, LA, and SD.

gracias!!!

I am bumping one last time in order to get some more comments.

I think all except berkely. dont rule out UCLA! take the SAT/ACT over again and aim for 2100+ or 32+
