<p>I like the point about “Now they call us ‘spry.’” I guess “spry” is a word to describe only people over a certain age.</p>
<p>Just like “bright” is used only to describe people under a certain age.</p>
<p>I noticed the word “bright” when I was looking for jobs in my 20s. All the ads I was looking for (entry-level-type positions) asked for a “bright self-starter.” You’re not going to get a 50±year-old responding to one of those ads.</p>
<p>How true! Buzz words with hidden meanings + intents!</p>

<p>My husband got really ****ed at me when I asked for the “senior discount” at a movie recently – they don’t tell you the age you have to be, so it could have been 55, which we are, but it turned out after I purchased the tickets, that my husband saw senior for them was 60. Then he got mad at the 16 year old ticket seller for not asking for his i.d. because, to my husband, that meant he looked 60 to the ticket seller!</p>
<p>I said, don’t worry, they don’t have the guts to ask and, besides, at 16 everyone over 30 looks 60, what do they know?!?</p>
<p>I mean, how long did we all pretend to be under 17 to get the cheap movie tickets?!?</p>
<p>I just couldn’t bear it that some of you may have missed this!</p>
<p>H and I sent it to the 6 brothers we love, and I can hear the laughter from 6 different states. His younger brothers pretended they didn’t understand, but they were lyin’ fools.</p>
