yay! my first post! ive been reading these threads for days and decided why not go ahead and join already and get to askn’ since you folks have been a TON of help.

alrighty…let me get down to it.
so heres the breakdown:
i am currently attending ccsf. my original intention was to transfer to sf state. as i acquired more info i realized that what i have always wanted was UCB or UCLA.so about 36 credits in i realize only 15 are UC transferable. (bummer ). but i plan to work really hard. luckily ccsf has the TAP program with UCLA, but on ehas to be in the honors program…
…one problem i totally bombed one class and got a F
(long story) this brought by GPA down and i have been trying to recover. Ive read about academic renewal and was wondering if this is better than re-taking the class? will UCLA/UCB re cauculate my F into my GPA as i have heard??? even if i do the academic renewal or re-take the class?.

i know that was kinda long, but you guys are soo amazing at getting stuff anwsered, so thanks soo much in advance !!
